No. Sorry, but I was watching two different shows and there were conflicts with the times. I do want to watch the Christmas episode whenever that's on.
This one was brutal in places, balanced with some lovely humor. The kid who didn't believe he was raped broke my heart.
This one, really didn't impress me as some of the past ones did. I did like the interactions with the couples: Sharon/Andy and Proenza/Patrice. I do wonder if an engagement is in the future for S/A as well. But to me the case felt a bit muddled. I didn't get the whole Jason Harper part, it seemed like they didn't bring him up til the end of the episode when they caught him which confused me. I gave it a "B" only cause of the couples interactions. Hope next week is better which with Fritz will probably be good, and really action packed.

This was one of the darkest ones they've had because of the violence. I loved seeing Patrice again but can't quite believe she'd marry a man who has had four failed marriages. I'll be interested to see how things develop.
I also felt the case was muddled. That may be because I was in the TCF chat room so I probably missed some things. This one definitely needs a rewatch.
It was a complicated case. I found it made more sense the second run; the older guy was manipulating the rent boys through the dead kid. It was interesting watching the little expressions running across Rusty's face, and I was very relieved they didn't have him inserting himself into the case; time was he would have. As a result, his one bit of help was meaningful.
The high spot was the kid who didn't realize his rape "counted." That was heartbreaking, because it was real. I just recently saw a film about the mis-handling of sexual assault by American universities (The 2015 #1 NFL draft pick committed two rapes in college and got off scot-free to protect his campus's bit for the college football championship.) One point made is that sexual assaults against men, largely gay men, goes almost un-reported because of the belief men can't be raped. The scene in this episode dovetailed with that, and really hit home for me. But the actor was also very good, as was Sykes.
Speaking of relationships: anyone else think there might be something between Rusty and Slider, at least on Slider's end??? The way he treated Rusty in that scene and how much everything meant to him and how he stressed it... I dunno. Also, he basically said Rusty's all he's got too and the WAY he said it...

I can't believe Provenza would be WILLING to get married again!!! However, they are obviously very serious about each other and Patrice seems to really match Provenza well.
