|Played by||Heath Freeman|
Roger A. Stimple was a pedophilic serial killer who appeared in "Ruby".
A pedophile, Stimple worked as a landscaper. Not much is revealed about his earliest years, though it's suggested during an interrogation that he himself was sexually abused as a child. He also had a difficult relationship with his mother. In 2002, while working in Griffith Park, he abducted, raped and killed two girls, Shekeia Davis and Grace Clark, and buried them in the park. After being convicted of sexual battery, for which he spent two and a half years in prison, he went on parole and his mother kicked him out and cut off all ties with him. Three weeks prior to "Ruby", he was laid off. In 2007, he kidnapped 8-year-old Ruby Williams and killed her. Afterwards, he buried her under some rocks in the park where he had worked.
He was later arrested and interrogated by Deputy Chief Johnson and Sergeant Gabriel and he refused to crack. When Brenda left the room Roger made some derogatory remarks about African-American little girls and as a result Gabriel punched him and Roger gave up the location of Ruby's body. Priority Homicide moved quickly to cover up Gabriel's mistake and called Commander Taylor for help. Commander Taylor had Roger transferred to general population where the other prisoners beat him to cover-up the beating and Brenda got Roger to confess to all the killings and walked away. Roger, feeling that all hope was lost committed suicide. Afterwards Brenda reported Gabriel's actions and he was suspended as a result.
Stimple's victims were black girls aged 8-11. After snatching them into his van and presumably raping them, he would strangle them and bury them in a park where he worked as a landscaper.
