  • I want to create a new category for deceased characters. Don't know whether to call it deceased characters or just deceased though. We have categories for murderers and murder victims, but we also have characters who are dead who have not been murdered such as Sharon Raydor.

  • I know he's not a killer like everyone else, but I think we should still create a section for him killing Stroh. We do the same for the detectives under Officer-involved shootings. I just couldn't think of a better title for it. Self-defense shootings maybe???

    • I understand that it's a major/significant thing, for our detectives and Rusty, but I still don't think it needs its own section.

It's not really a list when there is only one bullet point and at that point, why is it necessary?

The fact that Rusty shot Stroh, or which detective shot who, is already in the regular character info. I just don't think it's necessary.

    • Unlike most Wikis, this one doesn't have a comprehensive character history for everyone unless they are episodic characters. Frankly, for most of the OISes, the only place they are covered in IS that section on the pages. For example, Julio's list is pretty much just covered in Julio's list. If we had a comprehensive history on the character pages like most Wikis do, then maybe that would be unnecessary. But most Wikis also have some form of victim pages or lists for characters even if they aren't kills or whatnot. The POI wiki has that and Guru is Admin there too. The Heroes Wiki has separate PAGES as does the Supernatural Wiki, mainly to save room given the NUMBER of victims on most of those pages.

  • I actually thought that was important since that was when she worked the Reese Murders with Tao and Hickman and murdered Rachel Gray and Eric Dunn. That was important because that job was how she ended up committing murder.

    • I can understand that reasoning but for the sake of uniformity, I think we should keep it so it only lists assignments they are seen in.

If we would list past assignments for everyone, I think it would open a huge can of worms on every detectives part.

For instance, Robbery-Homicide should then be added to Provenza; Robbery-Homicide, Scientific Investigation, and an unknown vice assignment (we don't even know where he worked Vice) for Tao; Gang Intelligence for Sanchez etc.

I'll try to modify her page a bit so that it becomes more clearer that she worked in RHD in the past, but that info is not necessary in her infobox.

  • Are you sure about that??? At the end of season 5 he said his internship was almost over and that Hobbs had offered to give him a real job afterwards.

    • An assistant and an intern are very different things. If she's changed the way she describes him, he's changed jobs.

    • Definitely.

  • Take a peek at the message from the IP on my wall. I think she's right about including Dr. Joe among the recurring cast we list on the main page, so I've added him. Thoughts?

  • I just moved a couple of your posts from the S6 Discussion forum to the News and Announcements forum. That's generally where those things go. I wish we could pin discussions!

BTW, Hub13 generally keeps the ratings and episode titles up-to-date. She's my friend, who does that one little job, just so you know.

  • Hola, MG!

As you may have noticed, I'm working on a new set of templates that will auto-format episode titles, and reference to episodes. We built these for the Person of Interest wiki, and I also use them with Mr. Robot; they're really helpful. I'm working on Template:L right now, which is very fiddly. If you wouldn't mind, please don't alter or fiddle with anything I'm doing until I let you know they're good to roll out. One tiny incorrect change will mean a whole string of templates won't work. Thanks!

      I won't touch a thing!

      Thanks for the heads up.
