Theme and Synopsis[]
The theme for season 3 is expectation. Recurring cast will include Jon Tenney as FBI Special Agent Fritz Howard, liason to the LAPD, Tom Berenger as Sharon's wayward husband Jack Raydor, Kathe Mazur as DDA Andrea Hobbs and Ransford Doherty as Coroner's Investigator Kendall. Malcolm-Jamal Warner will reprise his role as Lt. Chuck Cooper, as will Bill Botchrup as Rusty's therapist, Dr. Joe. Guest cast will include Andy Daly as detective-in-his-mind Richard "Dick" Tracy, previously seen in the fifth season of The Closer.
